Rotary, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and Water for Life have joined forces for more impact. To accelerate action, a Rotary-IHE-WfL Action Team starts immediately to identify and develop new projects for joint implementation. We continue to be committed to the Sustainable Development Goals to provide clean water and sanitation for everyone in the world, while making the most vulnerable people more resilient to the impact of climate change.
The online Side Event on 15 January 2021, attended by over 700 particpants, was a joint initiative of Rotary, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and Water for Life. We join forces for more impact: Rotary for fundraising and use of network and knowledge of local Rotarians, IHE developing future water leaders and network of local alumni, Water for Life for implementation of sustainable water projects together with local water operators and communities.
Rotarians in the Netherlands, IHE students and alumni and WfL donors were inspired to continue to commit to clean water and sanitation for everyone in the world, with a conscious focus on making most vulnerable people more resilient to climate change.
